Tony L. Roberts Sr., 71, of Milan passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at home.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no services are to be held. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family.

Tony was born on July 22, 1951 in Guin, Alabama, a son of Lee Roy and Delia Ella Jane (Shirley) Roberts. He married Christine DeWitte in 1983. Tony worked in production for many years at John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline until retirement.

Tony's hobbies included watching NASCAR, dirt track racing with his brothers, videogames with his grandson Maxwell, chess, and hunting.

Those left to cherish Tony's memory include his wife, Christine Roberts; sons, Joseph, Sean, and Tony Roberts Jr; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother, Lee Roberts.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents; son, Odis Roberts; and brothers, Hershel, Troy, Ted, and Preston Roberts.
