Travis Dean Seitz, 27, of Sherrard, Ill. passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 in Sherrard.  A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, with visitation from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be at German Cemetery, Sherrard.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the family.

Travis was born on March 25, 1991 in Silvis, Ill., the son of Jerry D. and Catherine "Jeannie" Rambo Seitz.

Travis was currently working for T. Steele Construction Inc., Rock Island.  Travis was 7 years employed by FedEx Freight where he made many lifelong friends.

Travis enjoyed dirt bikes and was a former AMA state champion in flat track racing.  He loved the outdoors and cherished the times he went fishing with grandparents and spending time at the lake with family and friends.  As a Dodge fan, Travis was extremely proud of and loved customizing his white, four door, Dodge Cummins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Catherine "Jeannie" Seitz, Collins, Iowa; father, Jerry D. Seitz, Sherrard; girlfriend of 9 years and love of his life, MacKenzie Fugate, Des Moines; grandparents, Norma Seitz, Sherrard and Walter and Margaret Rambo, Aledo; aunts, Diane (Michael) Warner, Geneseo and Shirley (Todd) Roth, Reynolds; uncle, Curtis Rambo, Aledo; and Travis' two dogs, Remington and Diesel.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Seitz and uncle, Michael E. Rambo.
