Tyrone V. Jackson Sr., 41, of Rock Island, passed away December 4, 2017 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.

Tyrone was born on April 20, 1976 in Rock Island, the son of John and Cecilia (Howard) Jackson.  He enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family.

Tyrone is survived by his mother, Cecilia Jackson; children, Isaac Phillips, Tyrah Jackson, Tyrone Jackson Jr., and Brandon Jackson; grandchildren, Za'Briean and Zias Phillips; siblings, Letitia, David, John, Will, Terry, Andrew, Michael, Anita, Johnnie, Temaka, Jeff, and Demarcus Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Tyrone was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
