Valerie S. Farrar, 61, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island.

Per her wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting Valerie's family with arrangements.

Valerie was born January 29, 1963, in Scottsdale, Arizona, to Lee and Janette (Sproul) Farrar. She met her spouse, Brian Boyer in 2000 and they spent over 20 years together. Valerie worked several jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in her yard and gardening. She adored her cats.

Those left to cherish Valerie's memory include her spouse, Brian; father, Lee Farrar, Geneseo; sister and brother-in-law, Carolee and Andrew Munoz, Geneseo; and nieces and nephews, Madison, Logan, Reece, Ricky, Erin, and Keri.

Valerie was preceded in death by her mother, Janette, and sister, Audrey Johnson.
