Velma V. Huebner , 96, of Silvis, formerly of Moline and Rock Island, passed away Tuesday June 2, 2020 at Aspen Rehabilitation and Health Care, Silvis.

In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, assisted with the arrangements.

Velma was born May 11, 1924 in Rock Island, a daughter of Benjamin "Ben" and Hattie (Beverlin) Bell. She graduated from Rock Island High School and attended business college and modeling school. She married Jack Huebner on August 7, 1963 in California.

Velma was a secretary for many years. She and Jack loved golfing, swimming, visiting the oceans and traveling.

Surviving are her husband, Jack, of Silvis; sister, Elizabeth McCormick, Brentwood, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews, and their families.

Velma was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Earl Bell, Benjamin Bell, and James Bell, Sr.
