Vickie J. Shrake, 71, of East Moline, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Private graveside services for Mrs. Shrake were held on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to QC Paws or to a local animal shelter of the donor's choice. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Vickie was born on December 19, 1951, in Silvis, a daughter of S. "Lucky" and Janice (Lavender) Holt. She married Roy W. Shrake on July 23, 1983, in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1995. Vickie was a registered nurse, working at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis and the former Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley, before her retirement in 2011. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline. Vickie enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, baking, crafts, animals, collecting Fiestaware dishes and having lunch with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, and six grandchildren.
