Obituary

Victor Bryan Clark, 88, of Andalusia, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at Harmony of Davenport.

A private memorial service will be held at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory in Milan with military honors presented by the Milan American Legion Post 569.

Victor was born November 13, 1935, in Flagler, Colorado, one of seven children born to Arthur B. and Mary Rose (Johnson) Clark. He married Margaretha Schmalzl on September 20, 1955, in Innsbruck, Austria. Victor retired and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after proudly serving 20 years. During his time in the Army, Victor received several recognitions and awards for his service. Victor was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his family. He also liked to play cards and dice.

Those left to honor Victor's memory include his wife of 68 years, Margaretha; daughter and son-in-law, Margarethe and Roger Krueger; grandchildren, Tara (Eric) Keith, and Aaron (Heather) Krueger; great-grandchildren, Jacob Peterson, Kyle Krueger, Jensen Peterson, and Dallas Krueger; great-great-grandchildren, Hazel and Ryleigh; sister-in-law, Marianne Atnip; and nephew, Roman Atnip.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.
