Violet E. Fisher, 97, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday March 11, 2025 at Silver Cross Nursing and Rehabilitation, Rock Island.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday March 17, 2025 at Bethel Assembly of God Church, Rock Island.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Saturday March 15, 2025 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.

Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Bethel Assembly of God Church.

Violet was born on April 13, 1927 in Rock Island, the daughter of Edward Rosenthal and Audrey Green. She has attended Rock Island High School and later married Fred Fisher on February 1, 1947 in Rock Island.

Violet was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church, Rock Island. She enjoyed reading, car rides with Fred and spending time with her family.

She is survived by children, Jeff Fisher, Jennifer (John) Mercurio, Judy (Dan) Woodall, Janeice Bull; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Louise Lucier, Lillian Luckey, Marie Haynes, and Betty Johnson; brothers, Jim, Paul and George Rosenthal; brother- in-law, Cliff Johnson; son-in-law, Rex Bull and sister-in-laws, Treva Rosenthal and Elaine Rosenthal.
