Virginia M. Carpio, 82, of Andalusia, passed away Saturday March 7, 2015 at her home.
Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Andalusia Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Community Baptist Church, Andalusia or the family.
Virginia was born on June 5, 1932 in Rock Island County, the daughter of Eva Hopper Moore. She married James Daley. She later married Anthony Carpio on April 3, 1964 in Andalusia. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2004.
Virginia loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include her daughters, Pat (Tom) Peterson, Andalusia, Sharon (Curtis) Bull, Andalusia, Janet Daley, Andalusia; step daughter, Vicky (Terry) Dober, Springfield, MO.; daughter in law, Jennifer Carpio-Zeller, Bangor, MI.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Alderson, Sandy Pate; brothers, William Sehnert, Jack Smock and Dick Smock.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael.
