One word that would best describe Ginny would be "Remarkable".

She was a kind, compassionate and generous lady who never turned her back on any one in need. She spent her life serving others. Her first career years were in nursing, then as a restaurateur and after retirement she continued to serve others by returning to nursing in the home health care field.

Born July 29, 1934 to John R. Denning and Mildred Lee (Poindexter) Denning. She was a sister to six brothers: Bob, Norman, Tom, Bill, Jim and Ernie all whom looked up to her and loved her dearly. She married Donald W. Maloney later divorcing. She never remarried. During her marriage she gave birth to three children Donna, Steven and Patrick. Raising her three children as a single mother she never wavered in her faith in God through Jesus Christ, this faith brought blessings of 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren whom she dearly loved and enjoyed spending time with.

She loved the outdoors and was an avid archer in her younger years, spending time in nature was her refuge; her flowers and vegetable gardens were always a delight to see.

God blessed Ginny with a beautiful voice and she loved to sing. She spent many years sharing this gift in the choir at the United Methodist Church in Windsor Mo. When she wasn't singing she loved listening to music and playing her organ.

Ginny was known for many talents, seamstress, crafting, horticulture, and her sensational cooking. However above all else, Virginia, Jean, Ginny, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma loved being a mother, "and was a Mother to Anyone who needed her." She treasured her grandchildren and great grand children, and savored every moment she could spend with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mildred Denning, and two brothers Norman Denning and Ernie Denning.

She will be remembered by her one daughter, Donna J. Bass, Oak Ridge, TN.; two sons, Steven D. Maloney and his wife, Virginia, Columbia, MO.; Patrick M. Maloney and his wife, Susan, Davenport, IA, Eight grandchildren, Nathaniel Bass, Nicholas Bass, Daniel Maloney, Justin Maloney, Stephanie Koehler, Amber Cripps, Ashley Ropp and Steven Maloney. Nine great-grandchildren, Zakary and Evelyn Maloney, Lyla and Nora Koehler, Elisabeth and Owen Bass, Zoey and Cameryn Ropp and Michael Smith. Four brothers; Robert, Tom, Bill and Jim Denning, survive her.

As Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7 She "fought the good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith." Mom was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
