Wanda Helen Bentley, 81, of Rock Island, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Services for Mrs. Bentley will be 12 pm on Tuesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Wanda was born on May 3, 1933 in Rock Island, a daughter of Robert and Sara Frances Ames Goings. She married Richard Bentley on September 22, 1951 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2005. Mrs. Bentley was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing arts, crafts, bird watching and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Patty "Dana" (Charles) Pendlton, Rock Island, Cathy (Stephen) Maxfield, Davenport, and Jeff Bentley, Rock Island; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Sylvia Teel, Coal Valley, Vernon Evan Jr., Milan, Mary Russell, East Moline, Patty Merida, Wickenburg, AZ; and her best friend, Alta Lyon, Rock Island.
