Wanda Shackelford, 73, of Moline, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford. Memorial services for Wanda will be 1 pm, Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, where it will be live-stream at https://vimeo.com/1046466282/8a32549518

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Wanda was born on July 27, 1951, in Davenport, a daughter of Kenneth and Norma (Schullian) Earel. She married L. Glenn Shackelford on June 22, 2006, in Moline. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2021. Wanda worked at American Bank for many years, retiring in 2013. She loved her dogs. Wanda volunteered at the Quad City Animal Welfare Center. She took care of her parents and enjoyed gardening and fishing. Wanda also loved going to her great nephews, Isaac and Jonah's concerts and plays.

Survivors include her siblings, James K. (Vicky) Earel Sr, Moline, Rick (Karen) Earel, Kansas City, MO., and Jan (Steve) Hinton, Moline; nieces and nephews, James K. (Anne) Earel Jr., Joshua (Shawna) Earel, Cassandra (Ryan) Neel, Michael (Kelly) Earel, Hannah (Justin) Bechtel, Casey (Bobby) Severtsgaard, and Skyler (Natalie) Malmstrom; six great nieces and nephews; step children, Tina (Phillip) Lucas, Amy (Scott) Vinzant, Charles Shackelford; step grandson, Eric (Emily) Lucas; step great grandchildren, Mason and Brody;  and her beloved dogs, "Bear", "Buddy", and "Brandy".

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jim Hipes, and second husband, L. Glenn Shackelford; and her daughter, Megan Hipes.
