Wayne L. Siebke, 76, of Milan passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Wayne was born on August 28, 1948 in Davenport, Iowa, a son of Donald and Mardell (Beckman) Siebke. He lucked out and married Janice Claussen on June 15, 1968 and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage raising a family, tending their land, and traveling. Wayne worked as an electrician for IBEW Local 145 before later retiring. He and his wife Jan were members of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Milan.

Wayne's hobbies included listening and dancing to country music, tinkering, inventing and playing cards. He got a kick out of playing with his chocolate lab puppy, and spending time with family, most especially his grandkids.

Those left to cherish Wayne's memory include his wife, Janice Siebke, Milan; daughters, Brandi (Andrew) Gale, Milan, Rachelle Siebke, and April (Jason) Bright, Davenport; grandchildren, Lexys, Audrey (Jacob), Jordan (O'Lissa), Kayden, Kendric, Austin, Tylor; and great-grandchildren, Chase, Isla, Quinnley, Lux, Lucas; and one on the way; brothers, Donald H. (Deborah) Siebke, Rock Island, Loren L. (Carol) Siebke, Grand Mound and Randy Siebke, Walcott; and several nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Mardell and Donald Siebke; his step-mother, Elaine Siebke and brother, Gerald Siebke.
