Wendolyn L. “Wendy” Bragg, 57, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday August 19, 2026 at Silvis Center Nursing, Rehab and Care.

A memorial service will be held from 1:30pm to 6:00pm Saturday August 29, 2026 at Voss Brothers Lofts, 219 21st Street, Rock Island, Illinois. We invite you to come together as family and friends to celebrate Wendy's life, share cherished memories, tell stories and spend time together in love and remembrance. 

Wendy was born on April 1, 1969 in Rockford, the daughter of Ezekiel and Elizabeth Bragg. She graduated from Rock Island High School. Wendy was a beautiful soul whose love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a woman with a loving heart, a warm spirit and a genuine way of making the people around her feel cared for and loved. Her smile, laughter, strength and kind heart will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory, children, Aundre Bomar, Deidre Bragg, Chavonte Bragg; several grandchildren; mother, Elizabeth Bragg; sisters, Diane, Stephanie, Theresa, Felicia and Alvertha; dear friend, Harry Vesey; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ezekiel Bragg and brother, Adam Lacey.
