He graduated from Alleman High School in Rock Island, received his Associate's Degree from Black Hawk College in Moline, and attended St. Ambrose University in Davenport. Bill was employed at Project NOW for over 30 years. He was a voracious reader. A few of his favorite authors were Ken Follet, Richard Adams, and Herman Wouk. Bill also loved to read non-fiction, especially about WWI and WWII. He was a fan of University of Iowa basketball and enjoyed watching tennis. Bill was also a huge baseball fan. His favorite team was the Philadelphia Phillies who he followed religiously. Bill played baseball in his youth and was a good hitter, an adequate fielder, and extremely slow runner. Bill had a quiet sense of humor which we all, or usually, enjoyed. He was a gentle soul and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his brothers and sister, Patrick Logan (Rita Coyne), Moline; James G. (Arlyce) Logan, Moline; Kathleen Logan, Moline; and Thomas (Vicki) Logan, Macomb, Michigan.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Timothy Logan and the Reverend Johnjoseph DePorres "Jerry" Logan.
