William E. Conley, 69, of Rock Island passed away Sunday June 18, 2017 at Generations, Rock Island.

A gathering to remember William will be held on Saturday July 8, 2017 from noon to 6pm at Lincoln Park, Rock Island. Per his wishes his body will be cremated.

William was born on February 21, 1948 in Hannibal, MO., the son of James Minter and Catherine R. Conley.

He had been a self employed carpenter.

Mr. Conley served was a Army veteran.

Survivors include his siblings, Marnita Minter-McGee, Jeremiah Minter, Janet Minter, James Minter, Darrell Minter and a host of extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy Stanton.
