William "Bill" H. Hofmann, 90, of Rock Island, formerly of Aledo, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at his home. Services for Mr. Hofmann will be 10 am, Tuesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Andalusia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to family.

Bill was born on April 10, 1925 in Milan. He married Donna Terry on November 18, 1944 in Andalusia. Bill was a farmer, he and his wife, Donna retired from farming in 1989 after 45 years. Bill enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, dancing and collecting antique cars.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; children, Roger Hofmann, Colorado, Judy (Darrel) Hofer, Reynolds, Shirley (Larry) Clarke, Taylor Ridge, Bill Hofmann, Aledo and Don (Debbie) Hofmann, Aledo; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
