William R. “Bill” Hoffman, 76, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

A Celebration of Life will be 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Landmark UPCI, Davenport. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Landmark UPCI, Davenport. A memorial fund will be established.

Bill was born August 20, 1949 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Charles and Maxine Kirpatrick. He married Diana Flaugh on December 15, 2014 in Rock Island.

Bill worked as a truck driver and fork lift operator.

Bill was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed fishing, camping and loved to tease people. Bill was faithful to his church and was baptized on July 13, 2025.

Survivors include his wife, Diana; daughter, Pauline (Dan) Brimeyer, Dubuque, IA and step-son, Patrick (Kimberly) Phillips, Milan; best friend, Steve (Angel) Dhaenens; 13 siblings and many nieces and nephews.

His family would like to thank the doctors and nurses from Neuroscience for their fantastic care giving to Bill.
