William "Bill" Lauritzson, 77, formerly of the Quad Cities, passed away Sunday February 16, 2025 at Neurorestorative, Sioux City, Iowa.

Private services will be held at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Rock Island National Cemetery.

Bill was born on October 25, 1947 in Moline, the son of Virgil Bohnert and Flora Jane Comingore. After graduating high school, William joined the United States Army and served overseas. Mr. Lauritzson had been employed at the Rock Island Arsenal for over 20 years.

Mr. Lauritzson enjoyed bowling, watching the Chicago Cubs and wrestling and playing billards.

Survivors include his children, Stephanie McBride, Chris (Samantha) Lauritzson, April Lauritzson (Brad Decker); grandchildren, Derrick, Austin, Christopher, Elizabeth, Joshua, Nikkole, Colton, Kenzlee and Bristol.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Warren Lauritzson.
