William LeRoy Morrison, 81, of Davenport, passed away Sunday May 12, 2019 at Amber Ridge, Moline.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.  Memorials may be made to the family.

William was born on April 4, 1938 in Davenport, IA, the son of James and Pauline (Myers) Morrison.  He retired from Valvoline where he worked in the warehouse, prior to the he was in the roofing business.  William enjoyed working in the yard or in his garage, he was known for being able to fix bicycles and lawn mowers.  He loved spending time with his children and going garage sale shopping.

William is survived by his children, Bill (Lynn) Morrison, East Dubuque, IL, Tracy (Rick) Bankson, Dubuque, IA, Dawn Morrison, Dubuque, IA, Jim (Sherry) Morrison, Moline, and Paula (Brian) Bird, Moline; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sisters, Mona Van Winkel, Bettendorf, Patty Pintar, Bettendorf, Shirley (Gary) Bell, Bettendorf, Linda (Todd) Hilderbrandt, Bettendorf, Lori (Mike) Miller, Milan, and Jody, Hudson, FL.   He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Don Morrison; and brother, Carl "Punky" Stivers Jr.
