William “Mr. Bill” Pearce, 82, of Milan, passed away Monday April 13, 2026 at his home.

A gathering to celebrate his life will be held on Friday April 24, 4:00-6:00pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.

Bill was born on April 13th 1944 in Floris Iowa, the son of Raphael and Edith (Entrickin) Pearce. After graduating high school he married Connie Klicker on June 6, 1965.

He had been the owner and operator of Mr. Bill's Corner Gas in Milan for over 20 years. Bill was later employed by Brandt Construction hauling fuel and working in the warehouse with his adored shop cat OP.

Mr. Bill was a member of the Eureka Masonic Lodge, Milan.

He enjoyed tinkering in the garage and taking meticulous care of his lawn. Earlier he supported his eldest daughter in competition figure skating and coached both daughters in softball. He relished his boating time fishing on the Mississippi and catering to his dog Liz.

Survivors include his wife, Connie, daughters and sons in law, Sandy & Jeff Tipton, Viola, IL, Cathy and Jim Grall, Eagan, Minnesota, grandchildren Aleshya (Adam) Garner, Maison (Paige) Davis, Brittany (Adam) Gardner, Kristi Grall, great grandchildren Peyton, Naomi and Charles, sisters Nancy Watson and Judy Pierce

Preceded in death by his parents, Raphael and Edith, brothers Robert and John Pearce and a sister, Marilyn Crocher
