William H. "Bill" Weber, Sr., 78, of Milan, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity, Rock Island. Per Bill's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services will be at 11:00am on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan is assisting the family.

William H. Weber was born on July 18, 1936 in Erie, Ill., the son of Herbert and Etheleen (Paxton) Weber He married Mary Carstenson in 1958 in Davenport, Iowa. She preceded him in death on August 27, 2014. Bill worked at the Moline American Legion - Post 246 as a custodian for over 25 years. He was a dedicated Chicago Cubs fan, an avid outdoorsman and gardener, and he volunteered for the Foodshare program. Bill greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Left to cherish his memory are his children (and spouses), Mary Ellen (Luis) Weber-Vasquez, East Moline, and William H. "Bill" (Katrina) Weber Jr, Milan; grandchildren, Rachel (Mosies) Baxin, Emilia (Everaldo) Carranza, Sophia Vasquez (Daniel Martinez), Britney Weber and Brady Weber; great-grandchildren, Maria, Liliana, Gabriela, Lyla, and a sister, Jackie Brown, Shannon, Ill.
