Willie T. Rogers, 81, of Davenport, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at St. Mary Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Davenport.  Funeral services for Willie will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Greater Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church, 306 W. Cedar St., Davenport.  The Rev. Russell Harrington will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 11:30 to 12 Noon on Friday, prior to services.  Private inurnment will be at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Willie was born November 14, 1939 in Tchula, MS, a son of T.J. and Irene (Brown) Rogers.  He married Deloris Caston, she survives.  Willie worked as a laborer for a nursing home in the DesPlanes area for many years.  He was a dedicated member of Greater Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deloris; children, Annette Rogers and Willie Rogers, Jr.; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Larry Rogers and many extended family members and dear friends.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
