Winona J. Stallings, 38, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at Genesis East – Davenport.

A private family funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  A recording of Winona's service will be available at https://www.wheelanpressly.com/obituary/Winona-Stallings.  Visitation will be from 12:00 pm (Noon) to 2:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Chapel Grove Cemetery, Taylor Ridge.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Winona was born on August 22, 1982 in Aledo, the daughter of Edward and Lori (Whitmore) Weber.  She married Jon Stallings in Reynolds, IL.  Winona worked as a receptionist for Celebration River Crusies, she also taught summer programs for the students at the YWCA.  She loved the thought of traveling all over the country to various destinations, and loved all of the kids she taught at the YWCA.

Winona is survived by her husband, Jon Stallings; mother, Lori Weber and partner, Charles Cooper; siblings, Stephanie (Mark) Weber-Morgan, Michael Weber, and Araelei "Birdie;" and step brothers, Dariell and Devon Cooper; special friend, Jermaine; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Weber; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Winona Whitmore; cousins, Roger Hutt and Amber Cory; and aunt, Nancy Larson.
