Andrew Kelsey Obituary

Andrew Kelsey, 32, of Milan, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 28 at the Milan American Legion, 515 1st Avenue West, Milan from 2 to 6 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family with arrangements.

Andrew was born on September 1, 1989, in Davenport, Iowa, to Andy Powers. Andrew is a veteran of the United States Army National Guard and was a Small Engine Mechanic for three area businesses in the Quad Cities.

Andrew’s favorite hobbies were watching the Chicago Cubs, golfing, and fishing, especially with all of his nephews. He was a huge movie buff and loved to sing the wrong words to songs and way out of key. His main goal in life was to make the people around him laugh and smile, no matter how inappropriate it may have been at times.

Left to cherish his memory are his former spouse and best friend, Stefani Kelsey; Father and In-Laws, Andy Powers, Dan (Patty) Morris; Siblings and In-Laws, Kris (Adam) Anderson, Amanda (Ben) Luther-Kelsey, Misty Chappell, Jennifer (Aaron) Morris, and Daniel Morris Jr.; Nephews and Nieces, Kenny, George, Sammy, Rosey, Seth, Jaron, Logan, and Zayden; Aunts and Uncles, Melinda (Bill) Carothers, Don (Lori) Powers, and Mitch Powers Sr.; His best friends Eric and Devan Bentley and many other friends he considered family.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, Ruth Powers.
