Benjamin "Billy" L. Brodnax, 69, of Rock Island passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at home.

Private graveside services will be held at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.

Billy was born on July 30, 1955 in Pemiscot County, Missouri, a son of John and Alberta (West) Brodnax. He worked in production for various companies over the years. His hobbies included listening to music, playing pool, chess and spending time with family.

Those left to cherish Billy's memory include his siblings, Jesse Mae, Wilbert Brodnax and Dorothy Edwards and several nieces and nephews.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Claire Mae, William and David Brodnax.
