Beverly Leona Prescott, 84, of Milan went to heaven on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a private graveside service will be held at Andalusia Cemetery. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family.

Beverly was born on February 8, 1940 in Rock Island, IL, a daughter of Harold G. and Gladys L. (Twitchell) Hillyer. She married Willard "Mike" Prescott and he preceded her in death on November 8, 2014. Beverly worked within many professions, but thoroughly enjoyed her job as a certified nurses assistant.

Beverly's hobbies included playing slots, feeding birds and other wildlife, canning and most of all, spending time with family. She was a devout Christian and a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island.

Those left to cherish Beverly's memory include her children, Nancy Prescott, Theresa (Steve) Peterson, Mark Prescott, Jeffrey Prescott and Doug Prescott; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Gary Hillyer, Carlene Dilley and Dick Hillyer; and several nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband; children, Julie Rae and Bryan Prescott; parents; and five siblings.
