Carol E. Rosenthal, 85, of Milan, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 15, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and no services are to be held. Memorials may be made in care of Dementia Society of America. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Carol was born on March 12, 1939, in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Henry and Mabel (Thompson) Rosenthal. She was employed by HUD for 28 years before retiring in 1998.

Carol was a beloved mother and grandmother. She raised three daughters and was a devoted to her five grandchildren and great-grandson. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, decorating her house, and playing the lottery.

Those left to cherish Carol's memory include her children, Kim (Don) Webster, Tracy (Mark) Ogden and Ashley (Jeff) Dooley; grandchildren, Brandon, Aubrey, Dakota, Kiley and Leah; great-grandson, Mattox; and sister, Alma Via.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Richard Rosenthal, Melvin Rosenthal, Clifford Rosenthal, Katherine Kaesbauer, Elizabeth Johnson, Bernice Muller, Phyllis Swink and Marilyn Rosenthal.
