Christine L. Koester , 71, of Moline, IL passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Generations, Rock Island, IL.

A private graveside service and burial will be Thursday March 3, at Preemption Cemetery, Preemption, IL. Arrangements are entrusted to Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Christine was born June 17, 1950 in Moline, Illinois, a daughter of Ralph and Alberta Mills Williams. She married Danny J. Koester on August 30, 1985 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2021.

She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.

She enjoyed stock car races, camping, and traveling with Danny and family.

Surviving are her children, Doug Koester, Danny Koester II, Eric Haut, Darren Koester, David Koester, Steven Koester, James Koester, Christina Koester, Jeremiah Koester and Patricia Koester; grandchildren, Danny III, Trey, Breanna, Danielle, Eric John, Drew, Jazmine, Gracie, Angel, Annabelle and Josiah; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Terrie (Randy) Harriott, Davis Junction, IL and Joyce Remy, Milan; brother, Dan Williams, Moline; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Alberta; husband, Danny; daughter, Deniece "Dee Dee" Koester; and grandson, Christopher Koester.
