David Monroe Fisher, 35, of Silvis, IL passed away on May 3, 2025 at his home. The family will be a having a memorial service for him at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Silvis. Memorials may be made to the family.

David was born to Brent and Laura (Brannan) Fisher on January 1, 1990, the first New Year's baby in the Quad Cities. He grew up in Silvis. After graduating from United Township High School, class of 2008, David had several different jobs. He delivered the Dispatch Argus for over 3 years. He always pointed out that was 364 days of work a year, only getting Christmas Day off each year.

He enjoyed anime films, and was a big movie fan.  He loved numerous video games and was an avid player on different consoles and the computer.

David was a member of First Baptist Church of Silvis, regularly attending with his family and was active in the youth puppet ministry.

He is survived by his parents, Brent and Laura Fisher of Silvis; older sister, Crystal (Adam) Hodges of East Moline, IL; younger sister, Erica Fisher of Silvis.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul Fisher and Frances (Thompson) Fisher of Ellisville, IL; his maternal grandparents, Victor Brannan and Joyce (Shippey) Brannan, formerly of Fairview, IL; along with his uncles, Brad Fisher of Macomb, IL and Jeffrey Brannan of Rushville, IL.
