Deborah Allen Obituary

Deborah L. Allen, 69, of Milan, IL, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Genesis-Illini Campus, Silvis, IL.

No services are planned. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, is assisting with arrangements.

Deborah was born May 11, 1951 in Silvis, a daughter of Ralph, Sr. and Marjorie McLaughlin DeLoach. She graduated from Rock Island High School, Class of 1969. Deborah married Michael E. Allen on May 12, 1995 in Barry County, Arkansas.

She was a waitress for many years at several area restaurants. Deborah was a wonderful cook and natural artist. She enjoyed fishing, and loved bowling, pool, dice, and playing computer games. She was an avid reader, especially enjoying Stephen King novels.

Surviving are her husband, Michael; children, Michael Yeager, Moline, Tammy Stroup, Chicago, Jonathan North, Chicago, Christina Hawkins, Milan, Angela Peltier, San Antonio, TX, and Tina Gregory, El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Amanda Swanson, Erica Moore, Cody, Cole, Cory, Clayton and Kristen Peltier, and Kylee Stroup; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Ralph, Jr. (Mary Ann) DeLoach, Jr., Moline, Mary Williams, East Moline, Clarence “Buddy” DeLoach, Moline, and Rosemary “Rosie” Murphy, Milan; and many nieces, nepehws and other family.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Cherie Ann Tomlinson and Patricia McNamara.
