Debra Marie Michaels, 55, of Moline, formerly Milan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2024, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2024, at the funeral home. A memorial gathering will follow the services at the funeral home at the East End Bolders Club, 3712 4th Avenue, Moline. Memorials may be made to Debra's family.

Debra was born February 27, 1969, in Rock Island, to Thomas Martin and May (Martin) Herron. She graduated from Rock Island High School and received an associate's degree, bachelor's degree, and was currently working on her master's degree. Debra married Darrel Park and to their union, her son, Nathan was born. She later married Paul Michaels and to their union, her daughter, Cheyenne was born. Debra worked in logistics and was very artsy and enjoyed crafting, decorating, and gardening. She was also a fashion enthusiast. Above all, Debra loved her family and spending time with them.

Those left to cherish Debra's memory include her husband, Paul; son, Nathan Park; daughter, Cheyenne Michaels; mother and father, May and Bill Herron; sisters, Tracy Garcia and Christine Martin; close cousin, Sandy Curphy; niece, Shelby Stougard; nephew, Ryan Stougard; several great nieces, and one great nephew.

Debra was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Martin.
