Desileana Phelps

Desileana Phelps, 45, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday July 7, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.

Pending services are planned for 12:00pm Saturday July 17, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 11:00am to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Desileana was born on February 9, 1976 in Moline, the daughter of Jerry Phelps and Anna Tapia.

Desileana loved being in the company of her family and friends. She loved the simple things: good food, good music, and the sharing of good stories. She had an infectious smile, a mischievous laugh, and a unique sense of humor that kept everyone laughing.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Xavianna Mayfield, Moline; siblings, Myella Phelps, Mississippi, Joyce Carr (Brandon Clemons), Moline, Shetara Carr, Moline, Anissa Woods, Moline and a host of nieces and nephews.

Special friends Angie (Tim) Bragg, Moline, Tonya Hughes, Rock Island, and Reed “Tony” Mayfield, Richfield. Rebie Houston, Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Jerry Phelps; daughter, Zamariyah Mayfield; son, Zyair Mayfield; daughter, Zoe Mayfield; her nephews; her grandparents and fiancé Reginald “Reggie” Stewart.
