Donna J. Rumley, 71, Rock Island, passed away Tuesday April 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

Services will be 10:30am Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 8:30 to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to the family.

Donna was born on April 16, 1947 in Moline, the daughter of Donald and Jean (Wilford) Ekin. She married Dennis Rumley on September 26, 1964.

She had been employed as a nurse with St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island, retiring in 2009. Previously she had been a licensed beautician.

Donna loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog, Sophie. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, camping, Nascar, fishing and hunting trips with Dennis and girl trips with her daughters.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Dennis; daughters and sons in law, Debra (Mike) Mills, Viola, Deanna (Russell) Maltby, Moline, Danel (Rob) Brasher, Viola, Diney (Kevin) Day, Rock Island; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Rosie Gray, Milan and brother, Donald Ekin, Cambridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Logan and nephew, Shane.
