Earlene H. Parks, 84, of East Moline, passed away June 20, 2018 at Genesis-Illini, Silvis.

Funeral service will be held at 12 pm (Noon) on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2nd Baptist Church, Rock Island.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Earlene was born on January 29, 1934 in Louisville, MS, the daughter of James and Ceatrice (Liddell) Hickman.  She graduated college with her LPN license, and last worked as a receptionist at the Friendly House, Davenport, IA.  Earlene was a past president of the Church Women United.  She was a member and "Mother of the Church" at 2nd Baptist and also sang in their Ultimate Sounds Choir.

Earlene is survived by her children, Warnice Robinson, Floyd Parks, and Sherice (Cass) Parks; grandchildren, Danita Steward, Carl Steward, Geovanti Steward, Unique Boulrece, James and Justin Robinson, Diamond Robinson, Sherlene Squalls, and Tamara Lindsay; a host of great and great-great grandchildren; and her siblings, Allen Hickman, Earnest Hickman, Clinton Stewart, Ruth Hickman, and Mae Rose Hickman.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
