Frank J. Westbrooks

Frank J. Westbrooks, 70, of East Moline, passed away Friday July 30, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.

Funeral services will be 10am Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan and those unable to attend may view the livestreamed service at https://www.wheelanpressly.com/milan-live-stream. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Heart Association.

Frank was born on September 21, 1950 in Winfield, Alabama, the son of Odie and Vista (Estes) Westbrooks. He married Jody Anderson on May 26, 1979 in Illinois. He had been employed at the former First of America Bank and the Greater Metropolitan Area Housing Authority.

Mr. Westbrooks was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Chicago Bears and Professional WWE Wrestling.

Survivors include his wife, Jody Westbrooks; son, Robert Dillie, Geneseo; grandchildren, Connor Dillie and Kelsey Dillie; siblings, Milton (Linda) Westbrooks, Tupelo, Mississippi, Rosemary Rumler, Moline, Mark (Dena) Westbrooks, Tipton, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law, Richard Rumler.
