After moving to Davenport, he joined Central Park Baptist Church, where he met Linda Poma. They married September 2, 1977. The couple moved to Milan, where they raised their children.
Glenn drove city bus with Metrolink for 23 years, until his health led to early retirement.
He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Throughout his years, Glenn enjoyed participating in buckskinners rendezvous, creating wood burned art, playing/watching golf, and listening to music. He had great pride for his Swedish heritage. However, what he loved most was spending time with his family.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda; children Chrisy Mulvania, Sarah Bleuer, Kate Hanstrom (Andrew Weingart), and Devon Poma; grandchildren Abbey and Logan; sister Karen (Carl) Needham; aunt Phyllis Holmquist, sister-in-law Karen (Jack) Holst; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Charlene Clark, Barbara Schroeder, and David Hanstrom.
Glenn was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. A special Thank You goes to his selfless Heart Donor, who not only gave him 10 more years with his family, but made it possible for him to see his Cubs win a World Series. Go Cubs Go!
