James A. Westpfahl, 85, of Milan, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Celebrate of Moline.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 26, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Reynolds, Illinois.  A graveside service will follow at the Reynolds Cemetery.

Jim was born on September 19, 1940, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Dorothy Westpfahl. He was a proud member of the first graduating class of Rockridge High School in 1958. On July 20, 1963, Jim married the love of his life, Joyce A. Turley. She preceded him in death on June 25, 2020.

Jim dedicated over 50 years of his career as a skilled tool and die maker at Quad City Engineering before retiring. In his free time, Jim enjoyed researching genealogy and family ancestry, as well as collecting coins.

Those left to cherish Jim's memory include his children, Michael Westpfahl and Teresa (Russell) Gourdine; and cousins, Cathy (Jim) Bizarri, Robert "Bob" (Patricia) Westpfahl, Mary (Kenny) Baker, and Sue (Steve) Mairet.

Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Westpfahl; his beloved wife, Joyce; aunt, Margaret Westpfahl; uncle, Donald Westpfahl; and cousin, William "Bill" Westpfahl.
