Jenny Sue (David) Hickerson

Jenny Sue Hickerson, 50, of Coal Valley, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at her home.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A celebration of life gathering will be Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 2-4 pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the Hickerson family.

Jenny was born in Davenport, Iowa on October 27, 1970, a daughter of Robin and Sandra McMurray David.  She graduated from Rock Island High School.

Jenny was a caregiver at several assisted living facilities in the Quad Cities.  She also spent time doing a variety of other jobs.

Jenny enjoyed reading, traveling, watching hallmark movies and being outdoors.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Paul Hickerson and Kaitlyn Hickerson, both of Moline; mother, Sandra David, Rock Island; sister, Rebecca “Becky” David; brother, Matthew David Sr.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and son, Samuel Hickerson.
