Jeri J. Benson, 58, of Rock Island, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 23, 2021 at home.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A memorial service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the Knox Chapel of Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 2106 7th Avenue, Rock Island.  Visitation will be an hour prior to service time at the Knox Chapel.  Inurnment will be private at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of QC Paws, Moline.

Jeri was born in Moline, Illinois on July 21, 1963, a daughter of Gary R. and Carla J. Dreon Benson.

Jeri last worked for Performance Food Group – TPC in Rock Island.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Carla Benson, Moline; brother and sister-in-law, Bret and Angela Benson, Rock Island, and nieces and nephews, Jacob, Kieran and Lainey Benson.

She was preceded in death by her father, sister, Regina C. Benson and aunt, Judy Benson.
