Joseph Pollack Obituary

Joseph S. “Joe” Pollack, 82, of Milan, passed away Saturday August 28, 2021 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, with visitation from 11am to service time. Inurnment will follow in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Joe was born on April 13, 1939, the son of Joseph F. and Louise (Kroc) Pollack. He married Sharon Faye Crowell on November 14, 1959 in Herrin, IL.

He had been employed at Nichols Aluminum, Davenport as a draftsman until his retirement.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed golfing and had been a member of Indian Bluff Golf Course for many years. Joe was proud to have been a Eagle Scout and a member of the American Foundry Society.

Survivors include his children, Karla (Don) McFarland, Moline, Terry Pollack, West Palm Beach, FL., Jennifer Pollack, Milan; grandsons, Jonathan Pollack, Dubuque, IA., Craig (Anna) McFarland, Chatham, IL, Scott (Amber) McFarland, Columbia, MO., Ryan McFarland, Moline; great grandchildren, Anastasia, Addison, Clark and Liam; brother, Frank (JoAnne) Pollack, Sarasota, FL.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon and his parents, Joseph and Louise.
