Maurice Frank DePaepe

Maurice Frank DePaepe, 68, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday March 10, 2020 at Centennial Rehab and Healthcare, Moline, formerly of Rosewood Care Center.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday at Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, with visitation from 11:30 to service time.

Burial will follow in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Temple Missionary Baptist Church, Moline or Rock Island Heartland Hospice.

Maurice was born on June 29, 1951 in Rock Island, the son of Edward and Rose (Posateri) DePaepe.

He had been employed as a security guard at Ankertons for 19 years before retiring.

Maurice loved his two cats, watching the Chicago Cubs and was a avid reader.

Mr. DePaepe was a member of Temple Missionary Baptist Church, Moline.

Survivors include his cousin, Linda DePaepe Nordstrom, Springfield, VA; his church family including close friend, Pastor Kerry Sullivan; as well as cousins in the Quad Cities.
