Patrick S. Wille

Patrick S. Wille, 72, of Milan, passed away Sunday October 25, 2020 at UnityPoint, Trinity, Rock Island.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Live-stream services will follow at 11:00 a.m. and may be viewed at wheelanpressly.com/live-stream-milan. In accordance with public gathering guidelines, those attending are required to wear a face mask and observe social distancing. Capacity limitations will be monitored.

Patrick was born August 17, 1948 in Moline, Illinois, a son of Frank and Bernice (Larson) Wille. He married Terry Swanson on June 12, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Patrick retired from the Parks and Recreation Dept. of the City of Rock Island following many years of service. He was an avid golfer and achieved three holes-in-one.

He was a member of the Rock Island Moose Lodge, Rock Island Eagles Club, and Son’s of the American Legion, Milan. His favorite times were those he spent with family, especially following his grandchildren’s activities and lives.

Surviving are his wife, Terry, of Milan; children, Tim (Nori) Wille, Jacksonville, N.C., Wendy (Troy) Christopherson, Geneseo, Ill., Jonathan (Stephanie) Wille, Geneseo, Denise Hesse, Taylor Ridge, Ill., Karen Moore, Milan, Ill., and Rebecca Garlock, Gilbert, Ariz.; fourteen grandchildren; siblings, Michael (Sandy) Wille, Seabring, Fla., Pamela Ryser, Milan, and Mark (Lisa) Wille, Aledo, Ill.; several nieces, nephews, and additional family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
