Sally A. (Tisdale) Riddell

                Sally A. (Tisdale) Riddell, 83, of Milan, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

                Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan.

                Sally was born on June 17, 1938 in East Moline, the daughter of Albert and Vera (Mickle) Tisdale.  Sally was a graduate of UTHS.  She retired from John Deere Parts Distribution Center, Milan after 25 years.  Sally was the founder of Valley View Country Club in Cambridge, and “Rally for a Cure.”  She volunteered at Illini Hospital, Silvis, and was a village clerk in Woodhull.  Sally helped as a secretary for Swedona Church for 2 years.  She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan and previously St. John’s Lutheran Church, East Moline.  Sally enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and watching baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs.  In her earlier years, she was a gifted oil painter. 

                Sally is survived by her sons, Tim Viager, Davenport and Mark (Jamie) Preston, Reynolds; grandchildren, Brandon Viager, Jennifer Smith, Jeron Viager, Estee (Josh) Thorndyke, and Brandon, Emma, and Carter Preson; several great grandchildren; siblings, Sharon Kays, Milan, Susan Carey, Milan, Jake Tisdale, Alpha, and Lynne Fletcher, Moline; sister-in-law, Sandra Tisdale, Milwaukee, WI; and multiple nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Viager; and siblings, Shirley Eaton, Bob Tisdale, Linda Tisdale, and Dave Tisdale.
