Steven B. Vinar, 63, of Bettendorf passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at home.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Hebrew Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left in care of the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Steve was born on April 20, 1960 in Rock Island, IL, a son of Phillip and Lynne (Seigel) Vinar. He worked as a salesman for many years at Phil Vinar Furniture and Tempo Marine.

Steve enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, boating, working on cars, and coaching softball.

Those left to cherish Steve’s memory include his daughter, Sarah Vinar (Alvin); brother, Jeffrey (Donna) Vinar; nieces and nephews, Joshua (Adrianna) Vinar, Benjamin (Kayla) Vinar, and Rachel Vinar; ex-wife, Marlene Hegg; stepsons, Ryan (Mandy) and Randy; and dog, Annie.

Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Vinar; daughter, Stephanie Vinar; and parents.
