Toni Jean Schlieper

Toni Jean Schlieper (Marcellus) passed away peacefully at her home on November 2, 2023, at the age of 70 in Rock Island, IL. She was born on January 16, 1953, in Rockford, IL to Russell and Jean Marcellus.

Toni married Jack E. Schlieper on August 26, 1972.

Toni dedicated her life to helping others as a Respiratory Therapist at Unity Point for over 40 years. She was known for her compassion and touching the lives of countless patients.

Toni was an avid reader, loved baseball, knitting, baking, and donating to local charities. She cherished her travels and the time spent with her friends, family, and grandchildren.

Toni is survived by her loving children, Michelle Feeback and Robyn Schlieper; grandchildren, Madison Schlieper and Nalia Ratcliff; as well as her siblings, Russell Marcellus, Laura Marcellus, Paul Marcellus, Hal Marcellus, and Heather Foley. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service to honor Toni’s life will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Island, IL. Visitation will begin at 1pm, followed by the memorial service at 2pm.

Friends and family are invited to a luncheon at Bent River Brewing Company in Moline, IL, immediately following the service.
