Warren Lee "Torq" Lauritzson, 69, Moline, passed away Thursday July 11, 2024 at Allure of the Quad Cities, Moline.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday July 15, 2024 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to service time. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in Warren's name to Quad City Right to Life.

Warren was born on July 20, 1954 in Moline, the son of Virgil and Flora Jane (Comingore) Lauritzson. He married Deborah Wiborg on May 21, 1977. She survives him.

Warren was employed at Exelon Generation for 34 years, working as a Radiation Protection Technician. Prior he had worked as an electrical journeyman.

He had been a member of Heritage Wesleyan Church and IBEW Local 15 and Local 145.

Warren loved the Lord God with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength. He had a deep love for his family and his grandchildren. Warren enjoyed working on projects with skillful hands including the design and construction of decks and home remodeling, and fixing almost any mechanical problem as needed. He also enjoyed playing racquetball.

Survivors also include his children, Joshua and Mandi Lauritzson, Aimee and David Padgett, Daniel and Jillian Lauritzson, Torie Lauritzson, Isaac Lauritzson; grandchildren, Ezra, Mathias, Luci, Judah, Elijah, Zion, Elliana, Aria, Isaiah and Dorian; brother, William Lauritzson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Flora.
