Cremation

Cremation is affordable, but this alone is not the only reason why many families and individuals choose it as a means of final disposition. Cremation offers flexibility in making important final arrangements such as when and where the service will take place. With cremation, a loved one's ashes may be scattered at a meaningful location or they may be divided among family members. Especially in situations where family is spread out over distances, cremation can eliminate the burden of having to decide where to bury a loved one. For no reason other than the fact they do not like the idea of being laid to rest in the ground, some families and individuals may choose cremation.

Cremation does not at all limit options when it comes to funeral services. It is still possible to incorporate many of the traditional aspects of a funeral with a cremation. A visitation can still be held, with cremation taking place after. Burial may also still be an option, with the ashes being buried among a family plot. Also, depending on the cemetery's regulations, it may be possible to bury ashes within the grave of a loved one, such as a spouse, who was traditionally buried at an earlier date. When you meet with one of our funeral directors, we will explain these and all other options available to you.

We are fortunate to own and operate our own crematory, conveniently located at the Knox Chapel site. You will find peace of mind knowing that your loved one will be in our caring, meticulous and watchful hands before, during and after the cremation process. Not all funeral homes own their own crematory or have one on-site – we feel privileged to be able to offer this service to the families and individuals we proudly serve.

We have a full selection of urns and keepsake options such as cremation jewelry.
