We read the other postings, and they describe the Sandy that we had the pleasure of being with at a couple of family gatherings--she seemed to be so positive, bright, uplifting and made us feel so welcome and comfortable to be around her! I was shocked and saddened to learn of Sandy's passing. We had many fun times together over the 20 years that I have known her. She was always such a positive person, and I'm sure that she faced this with her typical grace and good humor. My condolences to Bob, the family, and to Amos and Andy, who will be missing their mom.

I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. Her name was synonymous with the Moline School District. Sandy helped many, many people in the district, especially me when I would get stuck with a task. Sandy always helped and her smile was contagious. She just made people feel better.
