Rick and Randy and your wives and children please accept my deepest sympathies, I miss him already. I used to refer to Glenn as the mayor of Bel Air Addition in Rock Island. I never worried about leaving my house for a few days as I knew he'd watch out for everything. And I will always cherish the many visits we had over my 21 years as his neighbor. Sincerely, Denny

Randy and Rickey,
Our family has many fond memories of being with your family: family dinners, games, etc. Your little mother and your daddy were just great people and of course you boys too. Take care and know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Hugs to all, Kandi Smith

I am sad to see this. I remember so many great times spent at your home. You two boys were older than me.... don't know if you remember me hanging around. My sisters are Kandis and SueDee. My sincere condolences. An era has ended. I will spend the day with wonderful memories spent with your parents.

I was sad to hear that Glenn had passed away. I haven't visited with him in several years but I met he and Helen in 1987 when my husband and I took the first Lincoln Hwy Tour to Lake of the Ozarks. Over the ten years that we traveled with the group we enjoyed the Friel's and Bob and Helen King. I used to keep in contact with the group by sending Christmas cards and when Glenn would receive my card he would always call and we would reminisce. I never had the pleasure of meeting his children but I know in visiting with Glenn they were the highlight of his life along with his lovely wife Helen.
